T1 Gelli Plate Printing-Garden Geometric

Course Description

Please note $10 material fee is NOT included in the course cost. Working with small homemade gelli plates (that everyone can have the recipe for - to take home and carry on printing - if they are keen,) we will explore the idea of ‘mono’ printing - with botanical pattern. Foraged flowers and leaves become the feature of the exploration and the resulting designs will be produced as greeting cards to share amongst family and friends. We will work with acrylic paints and are bound to get a little messy! The works that are not quite perfect will be great to cut up and collage as part of the geometric card making. About your tutor: Leanne is a multidisciplined artist, who has worked full time for nearly 40 years as an art professional. Using her original strengths as a Graphic Designer and illustrator, she has drawn on the combination of strong technical background and sound conceptual development, combining it to create the flexibility, passion and professionalism that lends itself to a wide range of artistic adventures. What to bring: Drink and Snack Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork. Material fee: $10, paid in cash to the tutor, and will include all materials needed to complete the workshop.
