T1 Italian – Intermediate

Course Description

This class is designed for people who have done some Italian and know the basic verb tenses(present, past, imperfect, future). Although we do grammar exercises and we read passages and short stories, the main focus is on conversation. Your Tutor: Ughetta Nolli Ughetta was born and educated in Italy where she graduated at the University of Pavia. She was a French and English teacher in Italy and has been te aching Italian since arriving in Australia. About the Course This class is designed for people who have done some Italian and know the basic verb tenses(present, past, imperfect, future). Although we do grammar exercises and we read passages and short stories, the main focus is on conversation. Students are expected to communicate in Italian on simple topics to be able to get by when on holiday in Italy and when speaking to Italian friends and family members. The class is conducted in English and Italian. Explanations will be given in English to make sure anyone can follow and understand, whereas the conversation, of course, will be in Italian.
