Course Description
Please note $10 material fee is NOT included in the course cost. Illustrating Story book Character In this workshop, you will be creating your own character as part of a story. Guided by Leanne, you will design and draw your storybook ‘hero’ - to fit within a short descriptive page of a picture book. Leanne has illustrated over 40 children’s books, spending years creating the characters that tell the stories within those pages. About your tutor: Leanne is a multidisciplined artist, who has worked full time for nearly 40 years as an art professional. Using her original strengths as a Graphic Designer and illustrator, she has drawn on the combination of strong technical background and sound conceptual development, combining it to create the flexibility, passion and professionalism that lends itself to a wide range of artistic adventures. What to bring: Drink and Snack Wear suitable clothing for doing artwork. Material fee: $10, paid in cash to the tutor, and will include all materials needed to complete the workshop.

Terms and Conditions
A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made before the beginning of the term. No refund will be given once the term has started. Participants in the term courses must be 18+ unless attending the After School or School Holiday workshops. Classes are not held on public holidays. Course start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the course tutor. A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre. A refund will only be given if you have a medical certificate for the dates you have missed. No pro-rata payments are available for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
