Course Description

Have fun while experimenting with oils and acrylics in a small, supportive class with a tutor who is experienced with all mediums. An enjoyable class for beginners and ongoing artists. You will work with different genres weekly, or you can paint your own chosen theme. All levels welcome About your Tutor: Art has always been a part of my life, from drawing the things around me as a little girl through to a BA (Fine Arts) Honours Degree where I achieved firsts for painting and design. The vibrant West Australian art world has been an inspiration and I have taught all the different mediums since moving here 26 years ago. I have won a number of prizes for my paintings and sold extensively to people returning to a variety of countries. About the Course There will be a different subject matter each week to structure the course for the beginners. They will be guided through, to develop their skills in their chosen medium. Ongoing and established artists will have a chance to experiment, meet new challenges and realise their strengths and potential. If your preferred medium is pastels or watercolours, you can work with those. Please bring those materials with you to the first class and discuss them with your tutor. If you have any reference images that you would like to paint, bring those to the first class. What to bring Bring whatever materials you might have at home depending on what medium you use.
