About the Course My origami class helps children have fun learning how to make origami models. I introduce the children to origami and a brief origami history. Children enjoy seeing lots of origami models on display which were all made by me and they can also choose what they want to make from the display. We enjoy making and sometimes playing after they make their models by folding. The origami will also include basic simple folding to more challenging folding of shapes such as animals, flowers, airplanes, food, boxes using traditional Japanese folding techniques. We also work with seasonal events and themes. All origami is made using Japanese origami papers and I also have a mathematical theme for experienced older children. What to bring: Drink and Snack Material fee: $10, paid to the tutor. Course Materials include Origami papers and implements provided by the tutor.
