I have been an embroiderer since I picked up a needle 30 years ago and I have an absolute passion for the art form. Almost from the start, I have designed my own pieces, playing with form, texture and the endless creativity that is embroidery. I specialise in Raised Embroidery, Goldwork and Crewel, and have been a member of the Embroiderers Guild of WA for the last 10 years.
For the past 5 years I have also tutored in embroidery, teaching courses for the Guild, other sewing groups and even a high school. I love to impart my knowledge to like-minded individuals and nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing a student’s face light up when they master a new skill.
